A distinct element in the activity of the Ovidius University Press is represented by the publication of the Annals of Ovidius University of Constanţa.

“The Scientific Annals of "Ovidius" University of Constanta, Mathematics Series”

Since 2008, the Scientific Annals of "Ovidius" University of Constanta, Mathematics Series, Ovidius University Press has been among the very few Romanian journals indexed in ISI-Thomson Reuters (currently Clarivate Analytics), receiving its first impact factor in 2011; starting from that year, it became an 'ISI-listed journal'. The indexing of the journal in this database, and especially its maintaining and constantly increasing visibility, given by the continuous increase of the impact factor, show a high scientific level of this journal at international level. In 2020, according to Journal Citation Reports, the new impact factor of the Scientific Annals of "Ovidius" University of Constanta, the Mathematics Series is 0.844, up from 0.638 last year. At the same time, the 5-year impact factor has increased significantly, exceeding the threshold of 0.736 in 2020. Over the last four years, the journal has been assessed and awarded national prizes by the Ministry of Research and Innovation / Ministry of Education and Research.

”Ovidius University Annals, Physical Education and Sport/ Science, Movement and Health Series”

The journal “Ovidius University Annals, Physical Education and Sport / Science, Movement and Health Series,” published by “Ovidius University Press,” is a scientific research journal. It tackles a multidisciplinary field of science education, oriented towards physical education and sports activities. The purpose of the journal is to review the evaluation of master’s studies and doctoral level, the activities of experimental research centers, the scientific results of current professional activities in the fields of physical education and sports, performance sports, physical therapy, recovery and motor reeducation. The journal is indexed in Ebsco, Index Copernicus and DOAJ and is issued in January, June and September.

The journal “Scientific Annals of Ovidius University of Constanța. Philology Series” is a reference periodical in the field of humanities, focused on culture, languages and literatures, linguistics, language history and philosophy. In the period 1990-2010 the publication was annual; since 2011 it has become a biannual periodical, appearing in July and December, respectively. The journal has a wide distribution in universities and libraries in Europe, America and Asia. It is indexed in Scopus, CEEOL, DOAJ, Ulrichsweb™, IndexCopernicus Journals Master List.

“Annals of Ovidius University of Constanța - Political Science Series” is an academic journal dedicated to the publication of scientific articles in the field of political science, international relations and interdisciplinary studies, published annually, in printed and digital format, by the Faculty of History and Sciences Politics of Ovidius University of Constanța. The journal contains scientific articles dealing with various topics of social and political sciences, from political philosophy to European studies, from political history to comparative politics, from electoral analysis to educational policies, etc.. Currently, the journal is indexed in 3 international databases acknowledged in the field of political science - CEEOL, Index Copernicus and Hein Online.

“Annals of Ovidius University of Constanța. History Series” is a scientific journal published by the Faculty of History and Political Science within Ovidius University of Constanța. The journal is indexed in CEEOL and publishes studies on political, diplomatic, social, economic and cultural history.

“Scientific Works. Agriculture – Horticulture Series”

“Scientific Works. Agriculture - Horticulture Series” publishes research papers in the field of interest of sustainable or intensive agriculture and horticulture, Phytotechnics, Agrotechnics, Pedology, Tree growing, Vegetable farming, etc., on weed control, fertilization, soil works, behavior of some cultivation in different climate and soil conditions, written by scholars, researchers, but also by BA and master’s students, guided by researchers or professors. The objective of the journal is to present the research results of academics, students, masters and collaborating researchers in the field of Agriculture and Horticulture within the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Agricultural Sciences of Ovidius University.

“Romanian Journal of Eurasian Studies” and “Historical Yearbook”

“The Romanian Review of Eurasian Studies” (RRSE/RRES) is a journal unique in profile and content in the Romanian publishing landscape. RRSE has been published since 2005 (two issues in an annual volume) by Ovidius University Press and publishes high-profile scientific papers on civilization, culture, spiritual interference and international relations in the Eurasian space, throughout history and in the present. In the last four years, the RRSE has been evaluated and awarded national prizes by the Ministry of Research and Innovation / Ministry of Education and Research. The Romanian Review of Eurasian Studies is indexed in 5 recognized international databases: ERIH PLUS, Ebsco, Proquest, CEEOL and Index Copernicus (ICValue 2018: 87.22).

,,Historical Yearbook”

“Historical Yearbook” is an academic journal published by the Institute of History “N. Iorga” of the Romanian Academy and of the Faculty of History and Political Sciences of Ovidius University of Constanța. It has been indexed in the Central and Eastern European Online Library (CEEOL) since 2013. The magazine publishes articles on political, social, economic and cultural history, diplomacy, the history of international relations, the evolution of minority communities and political biographies. The journal’s contributors come from the academia and research circles around the world.
